Smart insights: surfacing opportunities your team is sitting on

We added five click-through opportunity cards on top of the leads dashboard. Here's how they're computed and why they outperform a traditional 'reminders' list.

Most CRM dashboards show you what's due today. That's necessary, but it's not where the leverage is.

The leverage is in the patterns you can't see by scanning a list — like the hot leads that are stalled in 'proposal' with no follow-up scheduled. Or the five-star-rated prospects that are still in 'new'. Or the area your team has eight to-visit leads in, where a single trip closes them all.

We shipped Smart Insights to do exactly that.

Five cards, each a one-click filter

The Insights strip computes five views from your loaded leads window:

  • Quick wins — pitch ≥ 8 AND status in (proposal, negotiation)
  • Untapped gems — googleRating ≥ 4.5 AND status === 'new'
  • Stalled hot — pitch ≥ 8 AND no follow-up scheduled today or later
  • Scout {area} — the city with the most 'to_visit' leads, ready for a route
  • Won this week — closed-won within the last 7 days (celebration!)

Tap a card and the leads table reshapes to exactly that filter. No setting up. No saved-view ceremony.

Why this beats a static reminders list

Reminders are time-anchored. Insights are opportunity-anchored. A rep sees both daily reminders (Today's follow-ups, Overdue) and weekly opportunities (Stalled hot, Untapped gems) — different cadences, different actions.

It also doesn't scale you out of leverage as your pipeline grows. Reminders get noisier with more leads. Insights stay constant — there are always exactly five strategic cards, no matter if you have 100 or 100,000 leads.
